It depends on who and what it was. My parents got my kitchenaid and our pots for us. My Mother-In-Law got our sheets (which is totally not who I want to think of when I use them!) my aunt got our knives, but lots of other stuff I honestly only sort of remember and I have only been married 7 months.

Well, reading this post makes me think of waffles!

It depends on the gift whether or not I think of the people who gave them to us, I think of a lot of my friends whenever I use the fruit nappies from the china set; I think of the people who gave us place settings when we have a full meal, but if it’s just spouse and I using the plates because it’s a Thursday and we made some better-than-normal food, I don’t as much.
When things are more specific, like this awesome pottery serving tray, then I definitely think of the person who gave it to me!

It depends on the gift that I am using. When I use my china, I for sure think about who gifted that to us, and the bigger items like my cookware, electrics, sheets and bedding.

Not really Embarassed even though I vaguely made those promises in the thank you cards…

We got an awesome huge salad bowl (handmade ceramic) from a friend and think of him every time we use it!
