    I don’t see a poll. :/

But I originally came here for the ideas. Stayed for the boards. Plus I’ve got a LONG time to plan and don’t want to overwhelm my bridal party/family/FI with the next 14 months. It helps me to “get it out of my system.” Haha.

That photo is so funny and I swear if my venue had wi-fi I would be on weddingbee while getting ready! (I will probably use my phone!!!)

I love weddingbee because with other brides you can talk about wedding 24/7. I can be here for the next 17 months and no one will roll their eyes at me talking about seating charts. IRL, your friends are going to start the constant wedding talk!

Also, it’s been a great resource of what you can do for your wedding without going broke. I didn’t even think about DIY until I joined weddingbee. I didn’t even think people did it.

Let’s just say that if I didn’t have the internet and weddingbee, our wedding would be cookie cutter with a cake from the 80’s *yeah, the ones with the bridges and fountains built into them!*

I am the first of my friends to get married, so Weddingbee help me gets ideas and talk about wedding things!  Between this and my mom, I’m pretty well able to stay sane planning the wedding.

I came on the board to get ideas and look at dresses! Plus I’m slightly wedding obsessed so this board is a good outlet so I don’t overwhelm my Fiance, family or friends with wedding talk.

I first came here as a waiting bee for support when my Fiance was dragging his feet. My girl friends didn’t quite understand what I was going through and I was able to connect with a lot of girls here.

I stayed for the ideas and the community! My bridesmaids are long distance and not interested at this stage (my wedding date is so far away!) and that’s okay.. but it’s nice to chat with girls who are genuinely excited about weddings as I much as I am!! ๐Ÿ™‚

I am a research freak, so I like to get on forums for anything I am planning. I got SUPER involved in a dog forum when I got a dog. Like…anything you want to know about dog behavior, I’m your girl. I really love online interaction, so it’s really just my way to bounce ideas around and squee with other people and learn. I don’t know that it’s necessarily a replacement or alternative to BMs (I’m pretty much planning this wedding on my own with my Fiance and my mom sometimes), but it is a nice support. ๐Ÿ™‚

I also ditto PuntaCanaBride. Don’t want to overwhelm my friends with wedding talk, which I could talk about all day… ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Here are my reasons:

    – to get ideas from other brides

    – getting opinions from strangers is sometimes easier than getting them from friends

    – a sense of community with people going through the same things as you

    – work is boring

    – I’m heavily addicted
