Does your 1.8mm e-ring "spin"?

@tracey3345 My knuckle is also larger than the base of my finger. I usually wear a size 6 but sized my e-ring – 2.4 carat round on 1.5mm band – down to 5.75 on the recommendation of my jeweler to prevent spinning. While it’s not as easy to get over my knuckle to take off (a good thing if you ask my husband haha) it never feels tight on the base of my finger where it sits and it probably closer to the correct size for that part of my finger. It will occasionally get physically pushed to one side or the other but doesn’t really fall back and forth like it did previously when I was wearing a 6

i am size 4.25 and I have big knuckles and my ring that was 1.8mm spun and it made me crazy. I had to size 4.25 to go over my knuckle but my finger is smaller than my knuckle. I had the shank reworked and now the shank is tapered to 3mm in the back and it doesn’t spin and I LOVE it now. Shout out to CVB Designs for making the design work!

I have a perfectly sized ring – in the summer – but in the winter, it’s a little loose.  I’m thinking of putting those sizing beads/balls in.  It’s 2mm but it still spins around.  If your finger fluctuates from season to season, I don’t think 1.8mm vs 2mm will make a difference.
