My Fiance knows I’m on here because a lot of times he will talk to me and I’m so engrossed in a topic on here that I don’t respond to him.  I’m on my ipad all the time!  He hates it.  I’ll be laying in bed with my ipad and he comes in and says, “get off that site already” ha ha.

I have told my SO that I found a website and forum where there is a lot of girls in similiar situation and that it’s fun form me to read stories etc… I didn’t get into details of me posting stories or stuff. I don’t think he needs to know that.

He didn’t seam concerned or overly interested and I’m never on it when we are together, but rather when he is doing something else or is busy or when i have some down time at work ( I sit on front of PC all day).

You seam to be in a similiar position as me. I also moved in with my SO and further away from my firends, so I don’t get as much frined time as I used to.

Don’t feel guilty, think of it as time you would have spend with your friends, it’s just kinda better in a sense that you won’t feel like you have exhausted the engagement/waiting/wedding subject ๐Ÿ™‚

Yup, he does. And he knows when I go on it because he recognizes the background “anything interesting on the Bee?” He’ll ask. He also jokes sometimes that he should make his own account.

He knows, whenever I’m on my phone he asks if I’m on the Weddingbee again.  It’s no secret! ๐Ÿ™‚

Yup.  I didn’t tell him for a while but then I got addicted and couldn’t hide it anymore.  SO refers to it as my site.  “Are you on your site again?”

Embarrassingly my housemates gf recently found out (she borrowed my laptop thinking it was her bfs), that was an awkward conversation to have as a Waitingbee.  She did understand my fascination though.

Yep, my SO knows, and we’re still not ready to be engaged and he thinks it’s weird that I’m on here but likes that I get a place to talk to people that aren’t him (not that he doesn’t enjoy talking to me, but he really doesn’t care about every little thing I do).

@ladyartichoke:  Awwwkward.  Thankfully I haven’t had to explain to anyone besides my SO! My sister did get suspicious last fall when my cousin got married and I knew juuuust a little too much about weddings! Haha ๐Ÿ™‚

@MissBoPeep:  I know!  I had the same problem when talking with a girlfriend.  I know faaar too much.  I do talk about things I’ve read on WB sometimes, but normally I just say its a “woman’s site” that has wedding related stuff on it… Is this unhealthy?

@ms.jellen:  Sometimes the community just gets so close I forget we’re on the internet…

@ladyartichoke:  Haha totally not unhealthy!  When I share things from WB I always say I heard it from a friend.

Yep, I couldn’t hide it from him (not that I tried too hard).  I make him go on my pinterest all the time, which has a bunch of stuff from here on it.  He does not, however, know that I actually post here.  It just hasn’t come up!  (:

Yep, he does… And it totally bugs him – i’m a waiting bee and he feels me being on here isnt really making my own waiting any easier. I’ve however always told him I learn about so much more than wedding stuff on here. Now he always catches me reading posts and wants to know “what I learnt from the bee today?” ๐Ÿ™‚

He knows and he’s fine with it.
