So this is based on what I’ve read and heard from friends as I am still pregnant and cannot speak from personal experience:

Hips may stay a little wider.

Breasts can do any number of things. Some women’s stay bigger (though not at full breastfeeding size), some go back to normal, some get much smaller than they were before.

Nipple color usually goes back to normal.

I’m not positive on this one, but as I undestand it, linea nigra goes away. I’ve never seen a non-pregnant woman with one.

@dynamic_duo:  Your hips should get smaller than they will be when you give birth, but they may not go back to where they were. It takes time too… your ligaments need to tighten back up after spending 38 weeks loosening.

I didn’t get a linea negra, but from what I’ve heard it goes away.  My breasts went back to their normal size, but left a bit of a sag.  My nipples went back to their normal color.  I lost all the weight for both pregnancies, but my belly remained jiggly and a little loose.  I had c-sections though, so I was never able to tighten it back up to normal.  The hair and nails went back to normal growth as well.

I think the basic conclusion is for the most part things go back to the way they were, but there are some small permanent changes.
