We have two male cats, sometimes they go absolutely crazy over it other times they sniff it and just lay near it. I did find a catnip spray that they both get more interested in than regular catnip though. One of our cats especially loves the spray, he had a piece of burlap and a piece of tulle that we would spray for him and he’d go crazy rolling himself around on it and hiding under it.

I have a male cat and he is not into catnip at all so we just don’t bother with it. We give him treats though and he really likes the treats we buy.

My little man, Bodie, doesn’t really seem to pay attention to cat nip nor does he seem affected by it – but he is a high energy kitty since he thinks he is one of the dogs so he is always running around playing with them. I will say the times we notice any change is actually after he is done eating a ‘feast’ as we call it. . . essentially, every day he gets dry food, but every couple of days we make him a feast in which we incorporate dried fish flakes, greenies and his vitamin; after his first round of eating a feast (he is an all day grazer) it’s like he becomes a little panther.

I never knew a cat that didn’t like catnip.

My first cat reacted more strongly to catnip when we first introduced it to him. My second cat not so much. They’re both fixed males. We have catnip growing in a pot in the kitchen, now they’re both used to it and don’t care about it much. The second cat likes eating it from time to time but he’s just a fatty 😛 his behavior remains unaffected by it too! Whenever my first cat eats some he still gets a reaction to it

CATNIP BUBBLES. Our cats love them, and it’s fun to play with. I got them from thinkgeek.com
