Yes, blue or purple . (faint, medium, or strong)

Yes, yellow. (faint, medium, or strong)

Yes, other color. (faint, medium, or strong)

I don't know and it doesn't matter to me.

I don't know, but I would really like to know.

My gem is an awesome non-diamond stone.

    Extra other option.

Mine has a Medium Blue glow and I love that!
I just think it’s such a nice little quirk to have, something that isn’t visible to a naked eye, but would stand out if you were in a club or something…

I actually mentioned this in passing to my fiance months and months ago and said I thought it was amazing… so he kept an eye out for a diamond that had a little bit of the glow in it.

Also, unless it’s strong and makes your stone appear cloudy in normal lighting, I don’t see it being ‘MUCH cheaper’ than a non-fluoro rock…

Mine has medium blue fluorescence – Awesome!

And I know it was posted a year ago, but there was some misinformation on the first page of this thread…. fluorescence doesn’t “always” make the stone look milky; the GIA actually did a study trying to find out the exact percentage of milky fluoro stones and couldn’t get their hands on enough milky stones to get a reliable percentage. It is much more common than not to get a perfectly clear fluoro stone. With the price dip it’s SO worth it.

@ellabee:  Mine is graded faint, but I wish it was stronger.  I love fluorescence!

@ellabee:  I don’t remember from the cert (I was mostly excited about the Cs and such), but we do have a blacklight flashlight and mine didn’t fluoresce at all.
