My SO does most the cooking and cleaning. Guess I’m lucky.

Yes! This is our house and we both contribute to the clutter, so we both do housework. We’ve split up the chores so that we aren’t tasked with things we truly hate doing.

Usually he does not clean at all. Now that I’m pregnant he has been helping a lot. It’s cute to see him learning lol I’m sure I’m appreciated more now.

Always. When he gets home from work he has his list of “chores” he likes to handle, mostly because he likes them done a certain way. He does go above and beyond those frequently, which I appreciate a little extra since I’m currently pregnant.

He probably does more than me. I always do the laundry and clean the litter boxes. He does just about everything else. We take turns making dinner, but he ALWAYS does the dishes (because I hate doing that).

italybabe:  yep, he will vacuum part of the house, I do the other part. I do laundry (he’ll move it over if I ask), dust, clean the bathroom, and the kitchen floor. He does cat litter, dishes, countertops, and some other things if I ask for help.

Of course he does. He lives here too and it’s half his dirt/mess so why wouldn’t he help clean it up? Usually I do the dusting and clean the bathroom, he does vacuuming (because he’s anal and will actually move the heavy furniture each time while I just vacuum around it lol) and he cleans the kitchen.

A few weeks ago I came home from work and he had the entire house cleaned. Deep cleaned. He had the day off work and said “I just wanted you to be able to enjoy your entire weekend and relax. You don’t need to lift a finger!”. It was really sweet and there have been weeks where he wanted to go hunting or do something and I gladly cleaned the house by myself. It’s a give and take.

We’re pretty even. He sweeps, mops, does the bedding and towels laundry wise, keeps his desk looking nice, bathes the dogs, does the garden work and does dishes Monday through Thursday. I vacuum, do our clothes laundry wise, keep my desk clean, groom the long hair dog, do the cooking/baking and do the dishes Friday through Sunday. If anything he probably does more than me because I work more hours than he does.

Yes–when I ask. We have a specific division of chores. I am responsible for the dusting, bills, grocery shopping (he will come with me on occasion but I will put it all away), vacuuming, most of the cooking and general neatening up. He takes out the trash, washes the floors, does our 2.5 bathrooms, and the yardwork. I try not to get on him too much but sometimes…<sigh>

We both do our own laundry. We take turns on emptying the dishwasher. If I cook, he does the dishes and vice versa.

Yes all the time. We had a cleaning date Saturday for our Spring cleaning and we both got our whole place totally cleaned! It feels so good. We have fun cleaning together because we joke around turn on music and have fun with it. I also end up cooking since he gets home around 6pm from work so I have dinner about ready when he gets home so he does the dishes every night I cook.

I guess I should add… when we do clean, it is together. Like some other PPs, we pick a day and just start in the morning until it’s done. We just split up the stuff, like my previous post went over.

This week, though… our place needs to be dusted, so I’ll do that one day after work. I was going to yesterday, but I am not sure where the hours went.

DH also does most of the cooking… so I am lucky.

italybabe:  He’s a clean person in general and always puts things back where they’re supposed to go, when it comes to actualy cleaning, I do the dusting and mopping floors, he makes sure the windows and mirrors are clean. We try to divide the chores evenly so one person isn’t doing more than the other.
