When I check my registry, it lists the items which were purchased, and who the purchaser was. I just think it’s odd–I would never tell the people, because I think that they would feel bummed that the surprise was ruined.
But is this a common thing?

Wow, I’ve never heard of a registry showing you who bought the gift. Thats really weird and I don’t think its common.

@Quietserenity: Yes, mine does too (if they pay by credit or debit, or give their name). It says it’s so that you can send thank you cards, lol You have to go to the “registry manager” section to see it though.

My Williams Sonoma registry did. And my Crate & Barrell didn’t, but strangely enough when I bought someone else a gift off their C&B registry they asked me if I would give my info for the gift tracker feature. So I guess all my guests just said “no” when asked!

Crate and Barrel does through the Thank you manager-you can turn it on or off if you don’t want to know. BB & B doesn’t, My Registry.com does.

My Macy’s does not but my Amazon.com does.
