Honestly I do not think my ring fits my personality, other than the fact that I love ovals.  I always wanted a flat unpolished white gold band with an oval perched on it, and another flat white gold band for my wedding ring.  I never was a huge fan of channel set, but this is what he chose for me, and thats what band looked best with my ring.  I love my set but it’s far more diamonds and flash than I originally wanted.  I’m not a girly girl and feel like my ring is too delicate/lady like for me.  But I love it regardless!

@missmorganista:  I have a marquise and I love it too. I think mine represents me very well. I picked out the setting, I told him I wanted a marquis center stone but I let him pick it out and I am very happy with his choice. I like how the marquise is not trendy, I have only met one girl with a marquis – and they represent the past, present, future, and beyond. I love that about this style of diamond cut!!! Happy to see another marquise out there though! It is a timeless cut too. I also chose the setting because it looks like a butterfly – and I really love butterflies – think they are so beautiful. The only downside is that I don’t know how to fit a wedding band with this engagement ring. The jeweler said this ring could stand alone by itself or I could have a wedding band custom made to fit the groves, but I don’t want anything sautered to it. So I may end up leaving my ring stand alone. If I did add a wedding band, I think I would do some type of gold traditional band with antique style etching into it. No additional diamonds.

    Here is mine:

I opted for other…as I find my ring to be very girly and flashy and that I am farrrrr from. How ever my setting fits my old soul perfectly. It’s a modern ring based off a vintage style. Every one who sees my ring says its so me, other than its actually jewlery (which I love to death but honestly never wear)

My rings were my grandmother’s, and they suit me because the style itself (classic late-1930’s design), but also because family is so important to me. It means so much that DH had the rings restored for me as my engagement and wedding rings.

I feel like mine does; we chose it together. I think mine is fairly large, because I don’t mind making a statement, but I think it is also classy because the setting is very tiny with lots of attention to detail.

    Here is FI’s wedding ring:

I think it is representative of him because it is slightly modern, very sleek and good looking, and I think it is classy.

I’m not sure what my ring says about me other than I like diamonds.  SmileThe four stone band represents the four people in my family. I do like the fact that the pear shape and the setting are atypical.  Sorry for the lousy cell phone picture – I was just attempting to capture the sparkle.

I feel my ring is classic with a twist(being the princess cut)

There is literally no princess cuts where I live, everyone has round.

But it def matches my personality, I am classic but I love putting a twist on things=)

My current placeholder set definitely does not:

But the set we’re having custom made, based on this ring, definitely will:

@MsPiggy:  Love your ring! I’m such a sucker for princess cuts. My hubby created this on his own and I love it. He said he thought the center stone set up from the side looked like a crown… it reminded him of me.

Here is my set: sparkly, detailed, and a little loud… just like me Kiss

Here’s my cushion beauty! I feel like it describes me perfectly: At first glance, I seem like a “normal” girl…

but when you get to know me, I’m super fun and ANYTHING but normal:

Purple is my favourite colour, so the ring matches my personality well. Plus I like that it’s different and not traditional.

@gangqinjia:  Yours is one of my absolute favorites on the bee! I am currently trying to convince SO that I will not get tired of a rose gold wedding band. 🙂
