He doesn’t know about the section of the site, but as for “waiting” he probably realizes that lol.

Yes, he knows I’m waiting for a proposal. He also knows that I spend a lot of time on here. I explained to him that I do more than just complain about not being engaged. He understands that this is a pretty great social community and that I enjoy being helpful.

Sometimes I share with him some of the really funny or touching things I read. He enjoys it to a degree.

SO knows and he doesn’t mind at all (I asked him once to be sure). He knows how much I love wedding shows and such so I think it doesn’t really surprise him that I spend so much time on a wedding website. It’s a hobby kind of…like him and fantasy football. Plus to be fair to our situation, we’ve known we would get married for years now…we were just waiting for us both to graduate and save up for a ring 🙂

I voted “nope” because, while he knows I’m on WB and sometimes I even show him threads, he doesn’t know about the waiting board, or the concept of “waiting” as something that you can actively “be”, if that makes sense. Of course he knows I’m waiting for a proposal, but I think he would find it really weird that “to be waiting” means “secretly/not-so-secretly pre-planning the wedding, bitching to other women about being impatient, having secret inspiration folders on our computers, plotting to give him hints,” and whatever else goes on on these boards. It’s the only board on here that I hide from him when I’m reading it haha.

He knows I’m waiting, but any information beyond that constitutes ‘pressure’, sooo no. He does not know I frequent WB and won’t find out unless he starts browsing WB himself.

He might know, but I voted nope because when I talk about WB I avoid too many details and he seems to half listen to it anyway. But sometimes he really surprises me with knowing stuff I have said in passing or randomly.

Yes he knows – quite frankly I think he felt like it took some of the pressure off him in a time when external forces were complicating our relationship. Funnily enough, since we’ve got to the “preengaged” point (committed to marry, but he wants a surprise proposal sometime this year) I’m a lot less interested in pre-planning a wedding, more willing to relax and enjoy the ride.

i’ve told my SO, i also tell him how i’m playing “the waiting game” with him (in reference to waiting for the proposal) he thinks that’s pretty funny. so now whenever i get ready to go on my laptop he tells me to to have a nice time chatting with the bee’s! haha, so cute.
