Hmm.. this sounds more than just stubble especially if you don’t have prolonged contact. Maybe the soap/aftershave he is using is contributing to it and you have a reaction to it?

I would be willing to bet it has more to do with you touching your face after his stubble tickles you or something. Just keep a washcloth by the sink and scrub your face with hot water after kissing/snuggling and before bed. They’ll clear up.

I do. I hate stubble. I get pimples if we kiss a lot and I also think it has something to do with the fact that he smokes and all those toxins are stuck to his stubble from the smoke.

If it’s more than 3 days old it has to go, it’s an unwritten rule. Poor thing if he forgets I throw a million hints at him.

I don’t think pimples so much as just dry/red skin. 🙁

I don’t know how girls kiss guys with beards!!! :-/

Nopes.  It can irritate me once in awhile though.

@red_rose: I never kissed a guy with a beard before Fiance.  It doesn’t bother me whatsoever.  Plus I prefer him with the beard.  He shaved it all off once and I was in shock.  He has such a baby face.  The difference is so unreal.

Nope, but my skin gets irritated.

Could it be the oil from his face rubbing onto yours making you break out? Make sure you wash your face before going to sleep, especially if you make out at night so your faces are rubbing against each other’s!

dh has had a beard for the vast majority of our relationship but when i get pimples on my chin it’s just from touching it too much (i rest my hand in my hand when I’m reading something online–it’s a bad habit!). beard is way easier on the skin than stubble though–way less prickly!

DH’s is like razor blades.  It is really sharp!  Sometimes it really stabs me.

Once I got a raw chin from someone else’s stubble though.  I was so embarassed because I started a year long college program right after that and I was on a job in Hawaii and everyone knew about our “experience” (/hookup).

It doesn’t give me pimples, but it has been known to give me a rash. He also has facial piercings, with two little spikes right under his chin, and the first time we ever kissed, I came away looking like someone had punched me in the mouth, lol.

For the first few months we were together, actually, he had to take his piercings out or he couldn’t kiss me all because I’d get all these scratches and bruises. Apparently, I must have formed a callous or something, lol.

Used to! But let me tell you.. I bought my fiancé an electric razor and he uses it twice a day! He loves it! Life saver!

Stubble is worse than beards… it can be really painful!  I have very sensitive skin, and when my fiance would kiss me for a prolonged period of time, my skin would get really irritated.  Cream helps a lot, but can cause me to breakout too.  So now, I’m just careful and tilt my head so we’re not rubbing chins.   🙂
