Ours matched but I don’t think it really matters. I’ve seen it done both ways.

I looove your invites by the way!

Ours are only matchy because I could grab an image and stick it in a ppt file and print them myself. πŸ™‚  Otherwise, I would have just picked out the cheapest ones I didn’t hate.

Our thank you cards didn’t match our invites the slightest bit. We ordered the cliche thank you cards with a wedding photo on it. While we custom designed our invitation. There was no way I was going to pay that much for Thank You cards…

I wouldn’t use random loose-leaf or napkins (or anything like that) to send thank you’s. Other than that, who cares? Cards or nice note paper are fine IMO

CUTE invites I love love love them πŸ™‚ anyway, as far as them matching the thank you’s ours did not, and I don’t even think people will remember what your invites even looked like truthfully…so I say go with whatever one is your favorite!

Mine were on clearence at Target. My Maid/Matron of Honor bought them for me  and gave them to me at my shower. She had all of the guests address the envelopes with their names an addresses on them, saving me a ton of time.

My invites had a simple flower on them, however, the matched my wedding colors and went perfectly with my tea party themed shower.

For 40 of them I believe she payed about $10.

Honestly, no one will remember you invitations because most people throw them away after the wedding haha! Mine don’t match AT ALL. Who cares?!

@MrsDrRose612:  Our Thank You cards matched only because we bought a set that included everything to DIY ourselves. You are not obligated to have matching Thank You cards and like a PP said, most people won’t remember your invitations anyway to see if they match or not. I love the Thank You cards you have picked out from WPD. They are lovely!

Ours only match because a friend of mine desined our wedding invites and she made matching thank you cards with them.

Our invites were letterpressed, and I loved them soooooo much. But I wanted something a lot less formal for the thank you notes, and went with a photo thank you note from Wedding Paper Divas. The thank you cards turned out great and we got lots of compliments on them. πŸ™‚

Our thank you notes currently don’t match our wedding invitations. I got super cute thank you notes with just my name on them for the shower and my fiance’s indivdual stationery is super traditional and stuffy (he has to write thank you notes sometimes to business people, law firms etc, so it was more appropriate). We were gifted beautiful joint thank you notes as an engagement present and so we’ve been using those for thank yous for other engagement gifts for the moment. Our wedding suite was really expensive so we probably won’t go with thank you notes that match the invitation for wedding gifts. We’ll see.
