Ours is a day before our 7 year anniversary, we had wanted it on our actual anniversary but that is a sunday (11/8/13) and our church couldn’t do that day but as it turns out we’re both getting baptised on the Sunday, so it’s worked out great!

We picked it because we liked all the even numbers in it June 14th 2014 (14.06.14). We would have done our anniversary or the day he first said “I love you” but we didn’t want a weekday wedding.

It was 5 years after we officially started dating. I wasn’t set on that or anything it just worked out well for us.  June 16,2012 it was a beautiful day.

It’s the anniversary of our first date (or as close to it as we could come, being as our first date was on a leap day, which made it extra special to me) We have been celebrating that time of year for years now and I can’t imagine changing it. (As much as my grandfather asks why I can’t just get married in the summer)

we are getting married on a Friday the 13.  Our first date was a Friday the 13. Pretty lucky for us.

It’s actually my fiance’s birthday. We had wanted a time during the fall, and Columbus Day weekend looked like it would be best – he and I could take off from work, people could travel, and before we knew it, we realized the ceremony would be on his birthday. Our reception is being held the next day.
