No they don’t have to. Do whatever color fits your style!

I kinda feel like they do. I’m the type of person who likes everything to match so I personally wouldn’t wear shoes that didn’t coordinate with the wedding colors.

Since you are wearing a short dress, IMO it will look better if they match…maybe a nice multi-colored pair? Your dress definitely calls for some funky shoes.

Nope: my colours are raspberry and apricot and I am very seriously considering using my shoes as my Something Blue. I figure it’ll save me listening to everyone harping on against coloured shoes…!

You wear whatever shoes you like!

i think it makes sense for them to. i’m doing raspberry/red/pumpkin/black/white and i’ll probably do one of those.

They don’t have to match at all; however, if you are wearing a short dress, you should probably make sure they at least compliment the color of your dress.

That being said, I am wearing a long gown with my something blues shoes that don’t match anything in our wedding.

I’m wearing a short dress, so I’m going to try to have my shoes match-ish the bridesmaids dresses.  If I had a long gown, I would probably not care as much about them matching.

I voted yes, unless your shoes will be your “something blue” or if you are going with a color that matches your dress such as white or ivory.

My color scheme is eggplant and apple green.  It would just be odd if I just through a splash of orange on my feet when absolutely nothing else will be orange.

I wouldn’t say they have to match, but I think it is a nice addition to the theme!

nope!  you are the bride, not the background decor.  wear whatever color you want.

i’m kinda in this situation too.  my colors are black, white, red, and silver accents.  my Bridesmaid or Best Man will be in black and be wearing pearls.  my dress is diamond white and my jewelry is gold…and so are my shoes!  i hope it won’t look too weird…

I agree with @CaitMarae, personally i couldn’t wear shoes that do not match. Though i think it might also look good with different shoes, it depends on the type and color of the shoes and the dress.
