@MissGreen: I have to say, I am a little bit in love with the phrase “one of your many babys daddy.”

If your aunt’s facebook friends stop responding to her posts, she’ll probably stop doing it because she doesn’t get a reaction!  I would hide her if it annoys you.  I have a few friends who are constantly posting the lyrics to their favorite song of the moment or something like that, and I just hid their items from my news feed…

@FutureMrsBPB:  I dislike it when people post lyrics, I hide them as well as the people that play fairy, farmville, and mafia.

I blocked my own mother from my feed because of the non stop “vampire wars” and other random and creepy FB game updates kept popping up.

It’s not that you don’t like/love them… it’s just that their facebook etiquitte sucks!

I would start responding to her messages like, “watch it! that’s my cousin you’re talking about!” Even if you keep it light and add in a smiley face, maybe she’ll get the hint…

I don’t agree that she will stop if no one responds. I actually block updates from all stay at home Mom’s on FB because every single one I am ‘friends’ with positive or negative totally fills up my news feed with innocuous stupid updates about their kids. I understand they are bored and FB is sort of like an adult social setting, but really it’s so annoying and no one cares that little Johnny finished all his oatmeal this morning and you’re so proud!!!! Plus you end up knowing waaay too many intimate details about their home/family life that should be private even if the updates don’t seem like they actually have anything important in them.

heehee I’m a lyrics poster!  LOL Not all the time but if a song pops in my head new or old i’ll post it but not 100 times a day or every post. But then again i’m the same in person so…

Anywho, like pps have said just block her posts.  we all have posts we find annoying, no need to ruffle her feathers.  i’m annoyed by the mother posts as well.  Constant complaints or “i need a break” then when the kids go away it’s constant “i miss my family.”  well what the hell is it?
