I’ve never had to do one of these test, but I find them very interesting! I love to see when people post them.

I don’t see the Rottie or the Westie, very interesting results though!

Your dog is SO CUTE! oh my goodness. I did two DNA tests for my pup: Canine Heritage and Wisdom Panel. I got some differing results in the lesser breeds but both said she is primarily a dachshund:

Glad to see this post andyour results. My hubby and I recently rescued an adorable puppy and we have no idea what is her breed since she is a mix. We purchased a DNA test kit to find out what our puppy could be and we can’t wait to find out her results.

We did the Wisdom Panel DNA test and were very pleased with our results. ๐Ÿ™‚ I can’t remember the percentages, but our little guy is primarily Chow Chow with hints of Australian Shepherd, Miniature Schnauzer, and Corgi in his bloodline.

When we adopted him, they said he was a Lab mix, and it turns out he does not have any Lab in him at all!

@MrsRichard:  The kit we purchased was $10 and we got it from the rescue organization. When you send your DNA sample there is an additional charge for getting it tested and the fee was about $50 something. Our test was about $68.

I want to do this because our furbaby was listed as being Shepheard mix and EVERYONE asks if she is Golden and/or Chow! We’ve also gotten Huskie and other random ones.
