The fact that they love unconditionally, and can’t talk back or do other things that annoy the crap out of me about humans 🙂

I love the unconditional love, and realizing that animals have personalities and quirks that set them apart from other animals.  My dog is a goofball…almost like he has a sense of humor at times with what he does.  I also LOVE coming home to a dog howling at me in excitement from the balcony…makes the crappiest day at work easy to forget when you’ve got a happy snugglebug waiting at home for you!

I’ve never met a human who was so genuinely whole heartedly insanely over the top excited to see me, every single time I return from being away from her.

be it minutes or hours.  She makes makes me feel like I am the most loved person in the world.

Sure, she craps in the house sometimes, hogs the bed, drools and snorts at just about everything but, I think I will keep her 🙂

What’s not to love?! My dog is like our child… but cuter and less smelly than one =P

Seriously, she just brightens our day. There’s nothing better than coming home from work and having her literally quiver with excitement because you’re there. I have no doubt that she would go to the ends of the Earth to protect me if I needed her. She is soooo funny, CONSTANTLY doing things that make us laugh. If I’m having a bad day all I need to do is cuddle with her to make everything better. And, she’s the most beautiful dog I’ve ever seen (ok, ok, I might be biased…).

She managed to get herself lost about a month and a half ago and it was the WORST 39 hours of my life. I could not imagine not having her in our lives, she is just that special to us.

As others have said the unconditional love she gives me, the laughs and siliness she brings into my life, playing with her, going for walks, and seeing her enthusiasm about the world. I love watching her learn, watching her play with other dogs, and how disgruntled she gets when she passes gas (she gets up and moves to another spot, it’s ridiculous). She is just this crazy, loving, and energetic force in our lives that I wouldn’t want to miss.
