My Pup works best with repitition 🙂
So every day I have a 5 minute ‘checkup’, First I started with just saying ‘Ears’ touch his ears for a second no longer, then travel down the body, eyes, feet, stomach, lifting paws, checking under tail.
As you continue to follow this every day each day you will be able to touch, hold, play with & check each of the puppies body parts without him squirming & fidgeting. It takes time to work up, but now I can say any body part to my pup and he will happily let me handle/check it, Which is greatr for nail trimming, checking for grass seeds & cleaing his face/eyes & ears.
Good Luck! Treats and positive renforcement.
