Ooh! Could you get their name/address (I’m sure you’ll already have it since they’re on your guest list), and then ask your photog to take a very sweet photo of them.

After the wedding, ask the photog to make it priority that you get that photo of them quickly, and then place it in a double frame, so they can put a photo from their wedding on one side and the photo from your wedding is on the other.

I second @NDBee:. Send them a nicely framed photo from that evening.

We gave a bottle of champagne and 2 toasting flutes. It was like $25.

What exactly is an anniversary dance? It sounds like something I’d like to do cuz I don’t want to toss my bouquet at our reception so I’m trying to think of alternatives.

We didn’t give anything away! We just clapped and said congratulations!

@2bMrsG: The ones that I’ve seen invited all married couples out to celebrate. Then, the DJ asks those married 5+ years to stay out on the floor, then 10+, etc etc until you’re left with the longest married couple. Then you can present your bouquet to them (or some other gift, as Miss Tattoo is looking to do).

I thought the anniversary dance was a dance for all the couples.

we had the florist make a small bouquet – but she forgot it! we did not realize this until the announced the “winner” at the end of the anniversary dance. I was looking around in a complete PANIC, and my Mom made a run for the head table and swiped a bridesmaid’s bouquet – my great aunt never noticed a thing!

I’ve never even heard of an anniversary dance. ๐Ÿ™

We did the anniversary dance and my florist gave me a smaller version of my bouquet to give to the winning couple. It was great!

@Miss Tattoo: I like both ideas above of giving either wine/champagne or a nice photo of them that you can frame and send to them later. Both ideas are great!
