    @TammyLynn12: It always makes my cramping worse 🙁

    Period sex is a big fat no for us.

    @MadameLady: I literally LOL’d, I love that!

    I personally dont care for it, early on in our relationship we would only see eachother on the weekends so it was ok with me. Now that we have been living together for almost 6 years, i dont really care for it, id rather wait. He is always up for it (no pun intended) but it depends on how heavy i am. Ever since starting the nuva ring my period gets really heavy and my cramping is a little worse, so im not in the mood for that week. Usually if we do have sex I wait till the day before I put my bc in, its usually my lightest day and im less crampy/moody. I prefer not to, but whatever makes the nagging go away, I dont think any man can go a week! So its more of a negotiation, I will do it once, and thats it till im off. I hope im not on my period for our honeymoon, I havent been able to skip my period 🙁

    We do if we REALLY want to, but otherwise I prefer not.  My flow is ridiculously heavy and crampy and I’d rather not, even if I could get in the mood.

    There is no “down time” as far as sex is concerned.  We do it each and every day…even when I have my period.  Neither of us find it gross/awkward, but I have been with guys who were grossed out by it *shrug* To each their own, but it really isn’t that bad!!

    Remember to use a condom or another barrier-method if you’re not TTC. Despite what people think, it IS possible to get pregnant on your period.

    To answer your question…we have done it (we usually use a towel). It’s not my favourite thing, but my fiance and I have to take what we can get in terms of when we get to see one another. It does make it a little easier if you’re usually a little dry “down there”, because the blood provides lubrication, so that’s one plus.

    Hells to the yes! Fiance doesn’t care at all. We use a dark brown towel and then we either both hop in the shower or we use a warm washcloth to tidy up. Just shut the lights off if he’s freaked by the blood. it’s no big whoop!
