(Closed) Dollar dance, dying tradition?

I haven’t seen the dollar dance in a while but honestly I don’t think I paid attention to the last weddings that I went to. some people are being kinda rude about it all though it’s not really about the money, it’s about the one on one time you get with the bride and or groom. I think the money part comes from a time when people didn’t give elaborate gift or cards with money. I’m planning on doing the dance part but not the money part since I know everyone will be giving us gift but I still want that one on one time with my guest.
