Mrs.MilitaryBee:  Your story made me cry. Thank you for being so strong and brave by helping these women get through what is likely the worst and most harrowing life experience they will ever encounter.

Thank you for raising awareness. Everyone needs to know these warning signs and look out for themselves and their loved ones. It sickens me that these monsters exist.

I wish you and your family love, happiness and safety.

Mrs.MilitaryBee:  Sadly,  the abuse is often insidious. Hopefully,  with more awareness,  people will get out of bad relationships before they escalate.  Unfortunately too many people wait too long to get out.

It is so upsetting knowing that so many people are in abusive relationships. Thank you for posting this information. Reading your posts about isolation from friends and family being in the best interest of the abuser has made me think about a situation that my friends were in and how I distanced myself. Fortunately they have both moved on, but it has made me realize that I should not distance myself from something like that because it could have ended much worse.

So happy for you that you and your children survived something so awful. It is disgusting that it happened.
