Our friends went there in October. They had beautiful weather, judging from their facebook photos (attached)

I stayed at the Excellence in June and had a less than 5 star experience for our money. Darling Husband got food poisoning, along with EVERY SINGLE PERSON we met. literally, we were talking to couples about it and everyone had ickiness going on. Quality of food was less than expected….it was “meh” as far as meals go. Our room was stinky and moldy smelling, too. We pulled something nasty out of the vent. Ew.

But look how nice their weather was!!! =]

Honestly, I went to the Dominican Republic in December and I would never go back just because of the food.  The weather is great, resort was beautiful (we stayed at the Magestic Eleganc)…staff great, room amazing..but the food, oh the good…we resorted to eating pringles and drinking frozen drinks to fill us up and my fiance got sick…

Aruba is a safe bet…its below the direct line of the hurricane belt or something like that…heard the Hyatt is the best place to stay there..
