We HAD to donate them to the church. I love the idea of sharing them with other brides if you’re sharing the day with other couples, though! We had the earliest ceremony, so we just left them there, and I have no idea how long they were used post-wedding.

If you took them to the reception, where do you think you’d put them?

We are donating them to the church and they are going to put them near the Blessed Mother.

I’m not Catholic, but we are donating ours to our church. If they can’t use them for services, they will get divided into vases and given by the Pastor and mission crew to members of the congregation they visit the next week.

I think it is always a sweet gesture to donate them to the church. You could also choose to donate them to a local children’s hospital or nursing home when you are done with them. I know that the ladies at my grandmother’s nursing home always love it when they have fresh flowers around. They’ll pick them and take them to their rooms sometimes when no one is watching. Very sweet.
