Hospice is a great idea!  I called several local hospitals, and they won’t take them even if we deliver them.    But I hadn’t thought about hospice.  There is actually one about a block from our venue!  Thanks so much for this post.

We are doing the same thing! Our florist is arranging the delivery and is charging a $50 flat fee for delivery. It’s definitely something to look into when you meet with your florist.

My first job as a teenager was at a nursing home.  Then in college I worked at a group home for developmentally disabled adults.  I am utlizing a friend who wanted to help out in one way or another and having her deliver some of the floral centerpieces from our reception to the nursing home & group homes that I worked at.
