@Bridey77:  I don’t have mine yet but I’ve picked out these lovely matching bamboo bands. I know I’m gonna get a lot of flack because they’re simple, but I think they’re wonderful. Just waiting for my SO to get his finger sized! I was considering artichoke for a while but it was just too much effort and expense.

@mypinkshoes:  Clearly those carrots in the necklace have a ton of inclusions and blemishes. So I guess if you like that kind of thing but MY carrot is IF bright orange Ideal cut.

@Orion:  Oh artichoke is TOTALLY worth it. Especially the ones that the naked virgins on the planet Neptune grow, so of course they are REALLY rare and SO expensive.

@Bridey77:  NOOOOOOO, I have a potato RHR it is so clear and sparkly. Way better than any old broccoli ring.

@MrsUPS:  Well I hope that potato ring is not from Idaho because they do not ethically source their potatoes!

@Mrs. Myrtle Beach:  Yeah, I figured I should go with something a little bit easier to get and less heartbreaking if it gets lost or damaged. Easier to replace, too! I went the extra mile and am getting mine from someone in a really small business, he cultivates the bamboo by hand and it’s a type that just has this beautiful luster and resistance you don’t get from normal bamboo. I’ve had a few people try to get me to try palm, and while it’s pretty, there’s a luster about it that I don’t really care for, not to mention it’s softer and more expensive!

@Orion:  You are right, the bamboo is a much better choice! It really matches the orange in the carrots too!

@Bridey77:  You are right! I mean after all it’s an orange vegetable that you will wear until it rots. You TOTALLY deserve it. If he doesn’t get it for you he does not love you. Like, at ALL. You won’t even really be married.

@Mrs. Myrtle Beach:  Overstock??? Ugh, I’ve heard they use canned or frozen carrots in most of their jewelry.

@Mrs. Myrtle Beach:  yes, i agree, not the best quality.  full carrots in the necklace would be much better.

ladies, don’t forget the wedding day carrot tiara or crown.
