Hey ladies. I have been engaged for about two months now. I do not know how to explain my ring style or cut when other women ask or when I want tI describe my ring. I know it’s .90 ct and white gold with a thick pave band( whatever that means. Lol )but that is all I know. Can you ladies help me with some of the terminology? I know that this is so silly but I’d like to know. I’ve never been sI intense with certain cuts, etc. When we looked at rings I just chose things I thought were pretty and he did a good job in my opinion but what am I sporting? Thanks

Id’ say a .9 Round diamond in a white gold halo setting with a twisted (or infinity) style pave band.
Very pretty…are the two bands on either side attached or are those the wedding bands?

I would probably say it’s a 0.9ct round brilliant cut in a twist shank halo setting with pave diamonds. Sounds a bit wordy but it’s what it is.
If the two bands on either side are part of the ring I would say it’s a twist shank accompanied by two pave bands.

It looks like there are four small diamonds in the center, is that correct? If so, your ring is a cluster style with a halo and twisted shank band.

Yes. There are four in the center. Thanks for the feedback ladies. You guys are really awesome…and sharp!
