I like them, but have you talked with your bridesmaids about the price? For a couple of my ‘maids 290 dollars would be too steep even with the 18% off.  If your ladies are all already in the type of position where they can afford it, I’d say full steam ahead!

Even after the discount, that would be a lot of money, at least for me, to come up with in a month.  Maybe you could cover the cost of anyone who can’t pay so much so soon?

I’d be less concerned about the time crunch and more worried about the total cost of the dress. For the majority of the women in my wedding party, $240 would have been a lot to spend on a bridesmaid dress. If it’s affordable for your friends, then I say go ahead and get them, if you’re certain they’re what you want – it would be awful to have everyone run out and buy them and then change your mind!

Just out of curiosity, have any of your bridesmaids tried on these dresses? I definitely would not want to buy the dress (especially at that price!) without having had them try it on. Just because you love the look of a dress on a model does not mean that it will be flattering on your ‘maids. And I definitely agree that $240 is a lot of money to spend on a dress to wear for one day. That’s about double what I feel comfortable spending. If the bride REALLY wanted a specific dress, I would pay it, but have you looked around for similar styles that are more budget friendly?

Also, I wouldn’t stress about ordering the dresses by November. Chances are, those dresses will go on sale again before June. Talk to the bridal shop and see if they can give you any idea of when they usually run sales.

I agree that you need to talk to your BMs about the price AND get all of them in those dresses to make sure it suits everyone before you think about buying them. Unless you’re buying the dress and you’re happy to pay that price – but for 11 BM’s that’s a lot of cash for you!

Hi girl!  It’s wonderful when you find dresses you like.  I personally think if you’re wanting them, you should get them, but in terms of payment – I wouldn’t expect bridesmaids to pay over $200.  I’d recommend you pay the rest yourself..it’s worth it if you like the dress, and not worth your BMs feeling upset by the price.  Good luck 🙂
