I really like #1 or #3. But to be honest. I REALLY like the dark the best ๐Ÿ™‚

@HeatherMM:  I LOVE all your blondespiration pics you posted. I have the same problem as you do,I’m naturally dark blonde but there is a lot of warm tones in my hair even though I have a cool complexion. The warmth in my hair makes a lot if blondes come out brassy which is so not the look I’m after.

I’m in the UK and I use a purple toning shampoo and conditioner called provoke touch of silver to neutralise the brassiness.

Your hair looks light enough that an ash blonde toner or tint at the salon would get you to the shade you like in my unprofessional opinion.

I agree. Ash blonde would look nice and than if it was too dark you could add some face framing highlights. I also recommend tinting your eyebrows so they are lighter as well. I have naturally blond hair but for some reason my eyebrows are no much darker! I am not talking about like one shade like normal people lol.  I have to dye mine so they match my natural hair color. It will really pull your look together.

@HeatherMM:  You and I have the same problem totally! I read that once you’ve lightned your hair going darker is the easiest option as its difficult to achieve the same lightness but in another tone without going down the bleach route.

I’ve settled for mine in a darker, warmer shade than I would like and do it myself with Clairol Nice and Easy. I was fed up spending loads of money in the salon and never being happy with the results.

I like the 1st shade of blonde if you go blonde. But I like your hair dark. Why not try an inbetween shade? A medium brown – not so dark it’s black, and not so light blonde. If you don’t like plain brown you could get blonde highlights.

What about a rich brown color?  It would give more depth than straight black (which the blondes do to you) but work with your cool-tone coloring.

@HeatherMM:  To get the blondes in your pictures I think you’ll have to get highlight and lowlights in a few different colours if a toner isn’t working for you. I used to get that done but it was very expensive even though I’m naturally a dark blonde. I found some pics of when it was a colour I liked (the top photo)but it was costly to maintain. The 2nd photo is how it is now,its definetly a lot oranger than I would like, especially at the roots but it only costs £5 every 6 weeks for a box of Nice and Easy so for now I’ll settle. All the gorgeous ash blondes you’ve posted are giving me severe hair envy though. Good luck with yours and post a photo when you get it done ๐Ÿ™‚
