Hmmm. Is there any way to trim the edges of the invites? Could you have that done professionally? I don’t suppose there are any custom envelopes that are slightly larger?

What if you just wrapped a paper band around everything inside the envelope and wrote the names on that paper band?

What size are we talking about? Paper Presentation makes "outer" A7 envelopes that will accommodate A7 envelopes, though I do like amysue’s idea of the paper band.

Hmm. It sounds like writing on the paper ribbon or attaching something to it is the way to go, then. I think that could look really cute!

I started to say order new envelopes, but that doesn’t seem  possible since they are just about done.  just make a paper wrap and print it off on your computer or something.  OR, you just address each invite to the specific people, as I did.  I used pocketfolds, so you really don’t have an inner envelope.  So I addressed everything the the people who were invited.

Wait, I’m confused.  So the biggest problem here is that you want the inner envelope to say "X and guest"?  Why can’t you just write both people’s names on the outer envelope?  They don’t have to live together.  Then you won’t have to worry about trimming or buying new envelopes or any of that.  If you know the guest’s name, it’s nicer to write it out anyway.
