Key West! It’s a cheap flight and a lively place to visit. Not to mention lots of beach!

@Jamcnair:  Hm, well Tennessee to Florida is probably a little more expensive than Massachusetts to Florida (which is what I’m basing this off of!) 🙂

What about going to New Orleans?? I went with my Fiance and we had such a great time. Amazing food and sightseeing. I don’t know about the beaches, but it’s obviously on the water and there are ferry rides and such.

I’m trying to brainstorm on the fly here…

You could also think about the other coast. San Fran, Los Angeles, etc. Are the flights going West any better?

What about Miami, FL?

Key West is my favorite just because it has more of the Caribbean, tropical feel.

ETA: Knoxville to Orlando FL is only $200 roundtrip per person in October!!

@Jamcnair:  Savannah is really close to the beach (half hour or less)! We used to go to Savannah/Tybee Island all the time. Savannah is gorgeous and if Tybee has stayed the same then it’s nice, too!

@MsMindle:  YES. Ireland. 7 days, 6 nights, car rental the whole time, all hotels included, full breakfast each morning. Originally $1750/person, we paid $895/person!
