Fly me down to Florida, I’ll be your flower girl! I always wanted to be one, but when I was young, no one was getting married 🙁 Could you have junior bridesmaids for the 11 and 12 year olds and incorporate some flowers into it!?

Have the 11 and 12 year old’s be junior bridesmaids. I was a flowergirl when I was 10, I just wore a dress that was similar to the bridesmaids. Or borrow some random guests little girl.

I don’t think that is too young for a flowergirl.  In recent years flowers girls have been younger, but I think 11 is still ok.  At 12, I would go for a jr bridesmaid.

I agree with PP to have them be jr bridesmaids/flower girls. You don’t have any friends or family with young children or maybe someone at church if you go to church?

I am in a similar situation….but recently my Future Mother-In-Law gave me a wonderful idea and I’m seriously considering it:

see, you don’t have to personally know the girls. Why not ask some charitable organisation like Make a Wish Foundation, and see if there are any less-fortunate girls who dream to wear a pretty dress? That way you’d help make a little girl and her family really happy, and you’d have your flowergirl. Win win!

Hey, I live in Florida. Where are you having your wedding? Maybe you could borrow my lil sister and cousin. LOL

Just…don’t have one?  Personally I feel awkward asking children who don’t really mean much to me to be in my wedding, so we aren’t doing a Flower Girl or a ring bearer.

I am having a flower girl, because I have a 4yr old daughter.  But if I did not have children, I would not be having a flowergirl because I don’t have any nieces.  But thats just me.
