I feel you.  I am over planning the wedding.  I am over the moon about being married and sharing the day with friends and family— but I could care less about tablecloths and flowers and such.  The worst part?  We both have big families and large groups of friends — so our wedding is huge.  I really really wish I was into planning it.  I keep hoping that something will excite me about the process.  I have a few friends that aren’t married yet but are really into weddings.  Thankfully, they have had some great ideas.  Do you have any wedding-savvy friends?

Separate note — do not cut and paste your message from Word.  It will come out all garbled!

You know, if you go to http://www.theknot.com (not my favorite place) and create a profile, they have a break down of what you need/should be doing one year out, 11 months out, 10 months out, etc.  I’m also sure you might be able to get this somewhere else as well.

I can completely relate as I felt extremely overwhelmed with the initial thought of planning a wedding.  Aside from your relatives (like the moms), I relied on my closest friends for input.  It seems that most brides have a friend or two that is/are willing to give her/their advice for planning.  My other advice is to delegate, delegate, delegate : )  If you have a great support system feel free to use them to help you out with your planning.
