Lol my Fiance is a big techy nerd, luckily I keep him close by most of the time!! He does all this silly stuff to my phone (rooting it, flashing kernels, some other stuff that I don’t understand) so I’m always having issues with it and getting frustrated that he won’t leave it be!

When my internet goes out I have to restart the router and the modem, that might help!  Could be the server though, which means it’ll be better later [=

Thats when I start pushing buttons and unplugging things and replugging things.

It works eventually.

Fortunately, this is my expertise!

Programming and network design!

I had to set my SO’s network at his place, lol.

Usually resetting the router does the trick, unless it goes bad. This rarely happens unless frequent power outages or it gets old. If that doesn’t work, it’s probably intermitten internet connection and will fix itself. You can reset the modem as well, if you choose, but I recommend the router first.

My fiance is a nerd. In school for computer science. Thankfully he is always nearby so when he messes something up it gets fixed fairly quickly.
