How is it not illegal that we leave so many of our poor and mentally/physically ill to beg on the streets?

I’m kind of on the fence about this. The ones that truly need it and you can tell I don’t find annoying, but the ones who only want money to go fuel their alcohol problem bug me. I have a friend who tried to give food to a man when she was a kid. The guy tried to stab her when she gave him the food because he only wanted her cash. That story makes me a little nervous to try giving anything.

We see them a lot outside of Wal-Mart and it always makes me feel bad but half the time we’re barely able to afford food for ourselves so I couldn’t give anyways. It’s just sad.

@dicapriosimaginarywife:  No your still coming across as bitchy. Make no mistake. Just because you handed out some burrito’s doesn’t make you a better person. Clearly you didn’t learn much from that experience if you make a post about how “annoying” homeless people are and how they aren’t “owed” anything. Your attitude is also quite childish.
