I don’t want anything throwable nearby for the guests – the place we have charges extra per hour for cleanup time and I cannot imagine paying an extra hour as they try to get a bunch of confetti together.

I was leaning towards the idea of bubbles but I know some people will aim the bubbles at faces trying to be cute… so really there’ll be nothing!

We weren’t allowed to toss anything, but had ribbon wands instead after the ceremony, and I really liked that!  I think the kids there did too!

We let off chinese lanterns, did one more dance, then we left as the wedding was over. We didn’t plan a toss or anything but DH’s cousin who had said she would drive us to the hotel had decorated the car and everyone waited to say goodbye which was cute. We didn’t do an early exit or anything

I wish we could have done rice! But no one allows that any more!

So we did bubbles. The pics came out GREAT, to be fair!

Our ceremony venue is super strict on leaving anything behind that can damage wildlife or the environment so nothing is allowed to be thrown. We are doing ribbon wands.

I went to a friend’s wedding where they tossed rice…not sure how they cleaned it up but it got EVERYWHERE. One of the groomsmen got hit in the eye. Good thing the bride’s dress was plain satin but it got stuck in her hair and in the photos it looks like giant lice eggs.

    we waved ribbon wands.

    my mom made them

on a trip and miss understood and made them

like 4 inche’s short instead of log and wavy

so we make jokes that they are twinkles but they still

worked and we had fun with them

    especailly the kids

I have a really sick mind, so I had the wrong idea about what this thread was about.

Definitely no one will be throwing anything at me!
