Choosing Bella Pictures was the worst decision we made for our wedding. There was not a single stage of the entire process that was easy. It took over 1 year for us to get our album after a host of printer errors and delays which Bella took 100% of the responsibility for. They just barely delivered our album but only on the threat that I would be canceling my order and asking for a full refund. Instead, we got our album and a partial refund. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Bella Pictures. Everytime I look at my album I’m reminded of how awful the experience was and the unhelpful, unapologetic customer service. They’re not worth the hassle.

Personally I would be filing a complaint with the BBB!

I’m sorry to hear you had such a bad experience, but thank you for sharing.
I hate to say this but I am not suprised to hear that you had a bad experience with Bella.
I started the process with the los angeles branch and the girls were so rude and it seemed so complicated I ended up cancelling my meeting.
Its good you got a partial refund, but I’m with bluespurrs!

@ contrarymary I think Bella’s a big company & all over the country.
@ AndrewPoirier – Thank you for posting this. I got an email from theknot to win $1500 off and like a sucker I entered & they contacted me. We met with their rep in our area, and while she was really nice, we weren’t happy with the samples, there was no negotiating the price and when I received the proposal it was over $8k for less than 10hrs and there were things missing from the quote that we’d discussed. When I contacted our rep. she answered saying she “decided to leave this company for personal reasons”. Not a good sign. When I let the new rep know thank you but we decided to go in another direction they inundated my email and home phone with messages and even had her manager call my cell phone. Fiance answered once & finally told them that if they kept calling & didn’t remove us from their distribution list he’d report them to the phone company & state’s office.

Bella IS a big company and I can say that I’ve never heard from a photographer who had a good experience working for them. If the photogs don’t even like working for them… well… you’re probably not going to have a great experience 🙁

All I’ve heard is negative stuff about them… makes me wonder why people still use them and how the heck they are still in business?!

Any company that has to push that hard and advertise so much is obviously lacking elsewhere. I never even got to the point where I met with them and they were calling me daily and emailing me for a long time.
