(Closed) Don't want to do a money dance but need to tell guests?!

We did not do a money dance, and several people slipped me cash right before we left for our grand exit since “it was for the dollar dance, but you didn’t do one”.
If they really want to give you it, they will. If not, they will keep it. 🙂

If people want to give you a gift, they can figure out how to do it, whether that means handing something to you or your H, or sending it to you later in the mail. If guests do happen to hand you or your H money gifts, H can keep them in his pocket and periodically deposit in a safe in another room, in a locked room etc.  Most venues have provisions for something like this. 

You don’t put anything about gifts on an invitation. If people ask you or your parents, then you just tell them you aren’t doing a money dance.
