I need some advice, so I’ll hop right in! We have planned on having donuts at our wedding since we started dating. In talking with our wedding planner, she suggested doing wedding cake OR donuts, not both. We decided to do gormet donuts with a small cake just for cutting/pictures. Think donut tower with tiny cake on top. I was comfortable with the idea. Lately I’ve been thinking that some people would like cake, so I was thinking about getting bundtinis from nothing bundt cake as well. We are having 75 guests at our wedding and we were thinking 125 donuts and 96 (8 dozen) bundtinis. Does this sound like enough? Should we add/change something? For reference we were planning 3 donut flavors and 3 bundtinis flavors. Thanks in advance!

That sounds great to me. You could always get some small bags or boxes for people to take leftovers home at the end of the night. I love donuts AND cake so I’d be thrilled.

Sounds awesome to me! We are doing donuts and a pie bar though so I may be biased lol.

I agree with PP to have little boxes or packets to take home. It sounds great but you’ll have about 3 per person but I don’t think anyone will complain about left overs 🙂

Sounds awesome! We had donuts at our wedding with little baggies if anyone wanted to take their donut home or take an extra home. They were a huge hit.

I’ve never had a “Nothing Bundt,” I never even heard of them before this board. But I love sweets. If you give people an option to take away, then I think everyone will be happy!

Thank you for all your comments! I keep stressing over the little stuff. I’m glad to hear most people would be happy with this set up! The bags are a great idea and I just ordered them!

We did Nothing Bundt bundtinis. We had about 87 people and ordered a bit over 100 bundtinis. Everyone loved them, and we still had some left over!

We don’t have Nothing Bundt Cakes here…. but looking at the pics from their website, it looks so yummy!

Sounds good to me. As someone who really does not like donuts, I appreciate the bundt cake option.

happiekrappie : I came into this thread to talk about how delicious they are! I’m so sad we don’t have one in or near my hometown… but maybe it’s better for my waist line that way lol
To the OP, I’d be very happy with Nothing Bundt Cakes alone, and donuts sound great too!
