I definitely wouldn’t leave that behind on the table! I think it’s cute!

FrenchToastnCoffee :  they’re cute, but i LOVE champagne. however, it’s very polarizing – there are plenty of people that don’t like champagne and will leave it behind. that’s really the case with any favor. why not just skip favors altogether and save the money?

Are all of your guests over the legal drinking age where you are? If not, will you have separate favors for the underage guests? Also travel concerns- will you have many guests coming from out of town by plane who would have difficulties packing it to go home?

I do like the idea of a champagne favor but the above two issues are making it a no go for my wedding :/

FrenchToastnCoffee :  Sounds great! And for some reason I was thinking about the out of town guests not being able to chill the champagne- but hey, isn’t that what hotel ice buckets are for?

The nice thing about these favors too is that you wouldn’t mind taking them home if some get left behind and you can guarantee they’ll all get used! (Unlike at my friend’s wedding where his mom was begging us to take more engraved mason jars with us as we left. Kind of wish I did in hindsight, though- they’re great for freezing a batch of smoothies!)

FrenchToastnCoffee :  also, my recommendation is to skip the straw. it’s cute but…have you ever tried drinking bubbly from a straw? it doesn’t. work. at. all. straws are too narrow, and there are too many bubbles = nothing but foam/explodes in your face.
