There are a lot of beautiful braided up dos that you could considerate! That would be a happy medium!:) just google something along “bridal braids” or “bride with braids” or “braided up do” or something, youll see tons of different styles and options! Or maybe one thick braid in the back? 🙂 that might look more balanced together with your dress! Bit it still not too far away from the traditional hairstyle!

is that the crown you will be wearing? Its beautiful! It will look very “royal” with the dress style you are describing! Youll be stunning! 🙂

please post pictures of the dress too? ❤ it sounded so beautiful the way you described it, sounds like what I want to wear too, so id Love some inspo!

I googled 1940s hairstyle braids and there are a lot of elegant versions, around the head, around a bun, and more. That seems like a perfect meet between the two. You could also do a braid around the front with long hair down, shiny and neat instead of boho.

samantha83 :  I think this is going to look amazing. Please post pics! I love PPs idea of two braids (perhaps on the looser side) with a few small sparkly accessories added in. Maybe purple and white rhinestone hair swirls (not sure this is the right name, the hair accessories with a swirly bit you twist into your hair) to match the crown?

I had a loose side braid and it’s a really romantic look and works well with a headpiece (I had a flower crown).
