Double halo cushion shape with round center (1ct face up). I never could find a band to fit well, so I wore it alone. (It has since been reset.)

hisfavoritewife :  I have ring very similar and because of the undergallery, split shank and style no matter what band I wear with it or try to wear with it it is just blah to me so I totally understand and I am also contemplating a reset. Also I’m starting to get over the halo/double halo thing.

redearthlady :  I feel ya. That’s why I reset mine. I do like regular halos (as in not floral or one that is more varied) but they are more popular than anything else so it’s what I see more than anything else.

OP: Not trying to dissuade you! But if you were to ask, I would say to check out all the halo options as there are many variations that add size and sparkle but also look more unique. That is if you’re interested. The regular halos certainly lend to much cleaner lines and that might be your preference.

hisfavoritewife :  I agree. I’m more in the unusual halos like your reset than the halo style I have. It just seems like I see them coming and going so alot of times I wear my rose gold solitaire.  Where I am solitaire, unusual halos,or rose/yellow gold is more unique. I’m totally not dissuading the OP as well because the heart wants what it wants. I still love my ring and the antique cushion is beautiful. I just wish I could find the perfect mate for it!

Here is my setting from the side. It does not have a center diamond which is why the prongs are sticking up.

I’ve since reset my ring into a plain shank single halo. I had nothing but issues with this ring but it wasn’t due to the halo. I don’t have a better picture of it from the underneath, but I was able to fit a band flush against it.

diamondsareforever1 :  I don’t have a side view sorry frown   I had this ring custom made by EJ Collections (etsy). Ebay 5.5mm 1 ct moissy and the halo/pave is made up of pink diamonds that I had in another ring

I had mine custom made. I wanted it fairly low profile and the center diamond nearly flush with the first halo.

eagleandimgone :  Your ring is beautiful! I really like the spiderweb undergallery and the contrast between the double halo and plain band paired with the diamond wedding band!

redearthlady :  thank you!! I just couldn’t fall in love with anything else so I figured go custom! I loved the idea of a spider web to show my weird side but have it hidden just for me 💚 Also I just couldn’t find any double halos without diamond on the shank!
