@hazellj:  I’m confused. How can you ADD a halo? Do you mean a reset?

My ring has a double halo. The inside halo is smaller than the outside halo. The center diamond is 1.01ct and the total carat weight is 1.55ct. (my finger is a 5.25 for reference)

Here’s a few pictures so you can get a good look.

@IzzyBear:  it looks like a single halo… really hard to see the double halo part. do you have any close up shots of just the ring or the stock photo to compare it to?

Mines a double halo. Center is a 1.01 cushion. TCW I THINK is around 3 ct or so.

@lilsweetie:  since the inside halo is smaller, the edges of my diamond hide part of it…causing the diamond to look larger and the inside halo to almost disappear. Unfortunately I can’t I can’t get the stock photo because my work computer doesn’t like the designer’s website. Here are a few other pics that better show the inside halo

@hazellj:  I don’t own it yet, but the Tiffany Soleste is a double halo… I am sure you could find many pictures of it.

I tried one on in Tiffany’s and it had a .77 center stone (cushion cut). I held it up to a 2 carat solitaire and it looked much bigger… it was really good finger coverage but didn’t look gaudy. We’re considering doing around a carat center stone for my e-ring.

This thread has some nice pics: http://forum.purseblog.com/the-jewelry-box/it-surely-solar-ring-my-soleste-yellow-diamond-693435.html

It comes in a white diamond as well, there will be plenty of pics around the internet without the canary diamond.

crackktheskyy:  Is that a soleste?

In other news, I have a scar exactly where yours is on my hand, but it’s a bit bigger. LOL (And I have a soleste, so I thought that would be a funny coincidence.)

RenoSweeney24:  It is! And I remember you — I’ve totally oogled your ring before! (But I’m a bit biased!)

That IS funny about the scar! It’s from a hot glue gun. I used to work with my grandfather in his woodshop in the basement when I was a kid so I would accidently burn myself every so often. He was my favorite person in the world. When I look at it, I still think of him!

I have another HUGE scar on my hand that you can’t see in the picture that I got while making chicken parm for my Fiance. He was my boyfriend at the time. Considering the explitives that came out of me when I burned the heck out of myself, it must have been some good chicken parm because he still wanted to marry me!
