Hi Bees!
im driving myself crazy trying to make sure I get the right gifts for a double meet the baby. Here is why it is kind of hard:
Baby # 1 Newborn, really good friend, I see things that remind me of her and her baby a lot, lives close by, I know what her house and baby room look like, super easy, I see a ton of baby stuff to get her
Baby #2 4 months, lives abroad in hot location, no idea what her place or baby room looks like, I don’t want to overload her luggage, I know her style but I only see her once a year or once or twice every two years so I’m finding this one super tough.
it is also baby #2’s mom’s birthday so I’m not sure if I should get her a birthday gift on top of all the baby gifts.
Ive debated getting baby #1 a bunch of things and baby #2 a couple outfits and $50 (but then she’ll have to change to local currency) and I’m not sure if that’s unfair and if baby #2’s mom will feel bad.
I DO really love shopping for baby clothes and since baby 2 will be in a hot location when she goes home, most of the outfits i can get her are lightweight and shouldn’t overload her luggage.
For some reason I feel worried that one mom will loo at the other mom’s gift and feel like I didn’t put as much thought/effort and time into it OR that she might feel upset that I got her so many clothes.
Note: I do not have a baby of my own so I don’t know a lot about practical items for them. Hopefully we will soon!
