Hello future and present brides!
I recently became engaged and I’m in the process of choosing a wedding band. I have a 1 carat princess diamond. I know I have many options since it is a solitaire. I was thinking of double thin diamond bands on the front and back of the ring. If there are any pics, please post!!

I think a band on each side will look stunning with the solitaire… something like this?

Hm just a side note. Typically you just have one band as your wedding ring and later get an additional band to wear on the other side as an eternity band when you hit a major milestone… like 10 yr or 25 yr anniversary. That is what most women do.
The ceremonial wedding band is worn above your engagement ring, closest to your heart. So I guess the other one would just be added to the bottom for looks?
I have never seen someone add two bands on their wedding day, but if you like it I say go for it!

@AlmostMrsReed: My best friend has two wedding bands surrounding her engagement ring. It’s pretty common. Before the wedding, she wore one above her engagement ring and added another as her wedding band.
I agree with you about the whole nice ring on a milestone anniversary thing. My husband’s talked about getting me a diamond band in the future since I have a plain white gold wedding band.

There is a story why I have two wedding bands…
My original wedding ring was a plain band. During a trip, I somehow thought I have lost it. On my birthday, my husband bought me a double row diamond band to replace the one I lost.
A couple of days ago, While my husband was cleaning the car, he was able to find my original band and it was stuck underneath the car seat! I was so happy to once again see the ring I wore on my wedding day.
I have decided to wear both bands together with my e-ring. Both bands are thick, but I have long/slender fingers so all three rings feel comfortably fine…

I’m planning on getting two. I want one plain one for working in the lab and such and one with a little more sparkle.
