(Closed) Down 20 pounds…my weight loss journey.

You can do it!  I’m down 15 (no meds, just food) and now that the weather’s getting nicer, we’re starting to walk to the grocery store again.  Keep thinking positive!

@TexasSpringBride:  It’s funny, they’re not meds, but I found that once I started keeping up with my viatmins, I did a lot better!  I don’t know if it’s in my head or not, but I seriously wonder if I was deficient and if that was contributing to the amount I’d been eating.  And there is NO shame in meds, it’s all about what’s right for you and your body.

You’re doing great!  Don’t be too hard on yourself as you’re asking your body to do a lot.  Keep up the good work and you’ll reach your goal!

I will say that 20 pounds in 6 weeks might be a little extreme; I’ve often heard the 1-2lb/week rule of thumb for healthy weight loss.  I would say a more realistic goal is probably 12 pounds by the vacation, and anything more than that is a bonus.

Congrats!  I hit the 20lb weight lose mark this morning through using Weight Watchers.  Keep up the good work!
