This might seem like a REALLY dumb question, but I havent been to many weddings so I dont know how its done!!
Im wondering how the whole logistics of the walking down the aisle to music part goes.
I havent decided yet between coldplay’s yellow and fix you (instrumental versions most likely) but, do most people just start the song and then start walking? Or do they wait until a certain bit of the song and then everyone starts?
Its just that I have favourite bit sof these songs and they are quite long, so how do you decide when to start and stop?!
Sorry if this is a really dumb question!!

Good question. I have no clue either. I’m walking down to Everything I do and there is a certian part I love too. Plus then do you just stop it in the middle when you get up there? lol Why does this all have to be so confusing lol.

If you have hired musicians, it is their job to make the music fit the processional (not the other way around). A musician can just start at your favorite part of the piece, and make it come to a logical conclusion when everyone has entered.
With a recording, it is much more difficult. If you start in the middle of a piece, it sounds awkward. If you have everyone wait to enter until a minute into the song, your guests will wonder where you are! It’s possible to fade out when everyone has entered, if you have someone who knows what they are doing working the sound system.
