I’m going to go with the Lucille because it’s something different to your usual lace mermaid style. I find the satin element really glamorous, and it fits you beautifully. Just make sure your hotel has a good pressing/steaming service. Your wedding is during daylight, so you shouldn’t have any problems with how the dress photographs (the satin dress nightmares are usually when there’s flash and low light involved). Did you sit down in the dress, walk around in it? Did it appear to wrinkle or crease badly?

Thanks everyone, the votes have made my decision much easier, i decided to go with dress #1, will go back soon to arrange shipment, also check out about the wrinkle but honestly i love it alot that i dont mind some wrinkles after a long day. 🙂 i can carry a small hand held steamer with me And arrange a simple short dress after the first dance. So happy i have found my dress, that fits me perfectly, looks like the sample dress is made for me and it s in perfect condition at a lower price 🙂
@peonyinparis: thank you i will check the dress out soon. I didn’t sit down on it but will try it on soon, the dress is very light weight and easier to move on than in dakota. So i hope sittin on it wont be too difficult.

@zoecn: Yay, how exciting! How are you going to store it? You’re still a year + out from your wedding right?
I was thinking that creasing probably won’t be much of an issue for you anyway, you’re not likely to be sitting down in it much (esp if you get changed for the reception). It’s beautiful. Congratulations!

UPDATE: Iwent back yesterday to try dress #1 on again (without an appoinment so the sales assistant can only have 30 mins for me), and I say YES TO DRESS #1 and the belt, it is $400 under my budget (without VAT charges, and no shipping as I will carry it home). Yay!!! I am in love with it and have never imagine finding a more perfect dress than it is (sweetheart neckline, mermaid, not too long train and little sparkles, have both lace – which I love, and satin – which my Fiance loves (dress #2 is BEAUTIFUL but it is not ME), now I need to keep in my shape as there is no room for me to even gain 2 pounds until the wedding to be honest (which is fine because I am planning to loose 5 pounds) – I have lost 5 pounds in 2 weeks since working out, I am so happy that I did before the trip otherwise I wouldn’t be able to zip it up, I guess it is meant to be.
I’m so excited.
Thank you all for for votes and comments to make my decision much easier.
I will come back in 5 days after they finish the form for me and I will take pictures of the back of the dress as promised.
@AlmostMrsShea: thank you for sharing because what you mentioned have never crossed my mind, I’m planning to buy a second dress (about $200 – $300 to wear at reception) because I tried yesterday to sit down and the satin does wrinkle as you mentioned and not comfortable to sit down (I guess it’s with all tight mermaid dress).
@peonyinparis: The dress comes with a garment bag for hanging, I will buy a new sheet put in some perfume, and wrap around it (I saw one post mentioned in Weddingbee the instruction). As I am overseas at the moment, I will buy a travel wedding dress box, wrap it with tissue paper and carry it home – I have five days to organise this, so not an issue.

YAY! Glad you picked dress #1 as I was going to say pick that! It is gorgeous. I am in love with pretty much anything from Augusta Jones. You’ve made a great choice missy!

@Cyri: thank you, you are too kind. I’s funny as I came in to try on dress #2 and fully intend to say yes to that dress, and the lady heard what I wanted, so she has a dress that would love me to try on, needless to say I love dress #1 more than the dress #2 that I was obsessed for over 2 months.

@zoecn: Yay, congratulations! I’ve got to order one of those wedding dress travel boxes too, where are you getting yours? I am a bit leary of checking in my dress, even though *touch wood* I’ve never had lugagge go astray.
I’m curious about this perfume paper thing too, methinks I should try it with my dress!
Have you started thinking about veil/accessories/shoes at all?

@peonyinparis: I am planning to buy this travel box (I’m sure there are many of them in amazon too) because they are in the UK, and can ship to me the next date, which I need. I will let you know how I go with the sheet thing, I am trying to find that post again.

I have bought my veil, headpiece (I had another dress before bought it online and couldn’t fit so had to sell it) and shoes- i had eyes on and it’s the most comfortable 4 inches shoes that I have tried on so far bought yesterday to claim VAT, they not really go with dress #1 but I love each of them so dont want to sell any of them and will wear with my dress. 🙂 I only need to buy neckline and earings (but I may choose in one of my current jewellries that I have instead). Let me know what you think?

Earings: (maybe) my most favorite earings that I have at the moment.
