That’s a super broad request given that there’s so much in Chicago.  Obviously the Bean, but what things are you interested in?  Food? Shopping? Landmarks?

Shedd Aquarium, Museums, shopping?

Like pp said that’s kind of a broad question.

Check out the river walk and I love happy hour at tortoise supper club! I’d see a cubs game too but that’s just me!

Definitely do an architectural boat tour.  I would go to the Hancock Signature Lounge for a drink and a great view, over going to the Willis Tower (one of the protective layers of the skydeck thing cracked recently).

Walk around Millenium Park and as PP said, see the Bean.

We have great museums as well.

Also if you’re a meat eater you have to try a chicago style hotdog at Portillos!

If you’re going and the weather cooperates, an architecture boat tour is fun! Navy Pier! The bean as PP stated.

Buckingham fountain. Lincoln Park zoo is free and next to it is the Botanic Garden which is also free.

Obviously the museums are great too! The Field and Art Institute are my favorite!

I would definitely check out the surrounding neighborhoods which is really what Chicago is all about.  West Loop, Logan Square, Lincoln Park, Gold Coast, Hyde Park, Wrigleyville, West Town.

SabL22 :  That’s like…the broadest question ever asked 😉 What are your interests?

Architectural boat tour is always a hit. Do you like baseball? Catching a game at Wrigley Field is super fun. You can always get cheap-ish tickets from scalpers outside the park. Lincoln Park Zoo is free. Millenium Park is pretty cool in the summertime. Do you like beer? Chicago has tons of breweries! The observation deck at Sears Tower (sorry, Willis Tower) is awesome on a clear day. The museums are also really cool. Science and Industry is my favorite personally.

llevinso :  I will admit that I have an irrational fear of heights, but the observation deck at the Willis literally just cracked under people’s feet.

The glass CRACKED.

I would have died on the spot.

sharpshooter :  Did it really? How did I miss that on the news? Crazy! Granted I’ve never gone out on that ledge part. I’ve just gone on the top floor and looked out the windows. That’s still really cool.

bubbly2018 :

I’m a vegetarian, and I could probably fall for a Chicago style hotdog!

Chicago native here.  But, that was decades ago.  I have no clue where the cool places are now.

Can you still get those yummy steamed tamales from carts?
